Camlachie United Church

While the previous Camlachie United web design provided pertinent information to both current and prospective congregation members, there was a strong desire for a more rich experience. With the latest launch there are a few major additions:

Calendar. The most requested feature was that of a calendar. With the new calendar, monthly events can be seen at a glance with the most immediate of events appearing on the front page.

Flickr support. Yes, the previous site did contain a photo album, but uploading images was tedious. Instead of using a private solution, the Camlachie United website now takes advantage of the largest photo sharing website on the Internet, Yahoo’s Flickr.

Designated group pages. Individual groups (choir, Sunday school, etc.) will now have the ability to provide information regarding their specific functions. These details will be provided under the Programs sub-menu.
